After five days filled with emotions, adventures, new friendships and challenges, it was time to say goodbye to our partners from Italy, Spain, Croatia and Greece.
The children gained new skills and knowledge in rugby, filmmaking, art and languages.
But the most valuable lesson came during the open lecture “Accessibility through sport and art”. Emil Neshev, a sambo coach for children with special needs, reminded us all that being strong means knowing how to reach out a helping hand, and that sport creates a place in the world for everyone, whatever their physical and intellectual abilities at the time.
We at the Bulgarian Rugby Federation are extremely happy to have the opportunity to be part of FRIDAS and to share its valuable message.
Let us be human.
